The Attorney General's Office (FGJ) of the State of Mexico succeeded in having a judge link the former director of the rural normal school "Lázaro Cárdenas del Río" in Tenancingo, State of Mexico, Cenobio "N", alias "El Che", to the legal process for his alleged involvement in covering up the murder of a student at the hands of his peers.
The tragic event took place at the "Escuela Normal de Tenería" when several classmates attacked Brayan Isidro, a student originally from Puebla. According to witnesses, after the violent beating that ended Brayan Isidro's life, those involved spoke with "El Che" about what happened, even handing him the stick used in the attack, which had bloodstains on it.
The investigation reveals that, initially, the former director took charge of the matter but later threatened a witness to prevent her from revealing what had happened, thus hindering the arrest of the students involved. Despite the fact that the Investigation Police were denied access to the school, one of the alleged aggressors, Saúl Adán, was later detained and linked to the process for qualified homicide with justified preventive imprisonment.
On October 15, Cenobio "N" was arrested in Zinacantepec and made available to the judge at the Tenancingo Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, where justified preventive imprisonment was determined. The legal process continues, with a period of one month and 15 days to carry out the supplementary investigation regarding this case that has shocked the educational community and society in general.
